MAISON TAUPE is in the small hamlet of Les Tuilières, just outside Oradour-sur-Vayres.

The property is just 35 minutes south west of Limoges and the A20, one of the main routes through to the south of France, Andorra, Spain and Portugal. There are daily flights from Stansted to Limoges with RyanAir. Car hire is available, at reasonable prices, from the airport. For those of you travelling by road, it is about 7 hours from Calais.

We, the owners, aim to make your stay with us as comfortable, relaxing and memorable as possible.

The accommodation is a recently renovated farmhouse on the edge of the Limousin National Park. There are many places of outstanding beauty within easy reach . You can follow the trail of King Richard the Lion Heart which takes you to many Chateaux and Cathedrals. We are not far from the Dordogne Valley and the Charente and also only 20 minutes from the Martyr Village Oradour-sur-Glane. Limoges is known for its fine porcelain. The city lies in hilly country on the river Vienne, dominated by a great Gothic cathedral, with many parks and gardens and old narrow mediaeval streets.

Whether you are holidaying, just passing through or looking for a holiday home of your own this is an ideal base. The Limousin is one of the last remaining places of unspoiled natural beauty in France.

Whatever you choose to do on your holiday, MAISON TAUPE is a fantastic place to end your day with a great home cooked meal and a few glasses of wine, and then you can relax in the garden and watch the evening sunset!
